NFU Get Behind Local Event      

19 May 2014:  NFU Mutal, one of the UK’s leading insurance, pension and investment providers, has today been confirmed as a sponsor for the inaugural Montrose Triathlon on Sunday, 1 June.

The organisation prides itself on the advice it gives to both personal and business clients.  With over 300 local branches throughout the UK, including the Angus & Dundee agency based in Forfar, their advisers take time to discuss all the options with clients.

Maggie Lawrie, Tri Angus Executive Director commented “I’m delighted that NFU Mutual have agreed to sponsor the Montrose Triathlon.  I have experienced firsthand the expertise the team in the Forfar office share.  Insurance is such an important thing for an event like ours and they really made the whole process a lot easier, taking the time to explain all options to us – something I’m very grateful for”.

The event is now full however Tri Angus are encouraging people to come down and support the 180 participants on the day.  The first swimmers will take to the pool at approximately 11am and should be on the bike route 30 minutes later.  Volunteer opportunities are available too, please contact us for more information.
